Where we focus?

Focus Point

We are a team of change-makers who believe that every helping hand can raise a child and create a better future for them.
We started extending help to needy children and youth who were eager to study and work for a better life. This moment intensified when we found that there were many such underprivileged children who needed help with food, shelter and education. Our team expanded and we spread out in different regions to make sure we cover all possible areas and help as many children as possible.
We now run shelter homes, schools and a reasonable mess that helps such needy young people. We also have our helpline offices spread throughout the country so one can approach us anytime they need help.

Education & Awareness

The importance of global awareness is immeasurable in today’s times. We live in a world that is struggling with many challenges. These struggles are not limited to individuals, states, countries, or even regions. They extend to every single citizen of the planet. However, we can get a head start if we take the first step of spreading global awareness to students. We must remember that the students of today will be becoming the decision-makers of tomorrow. Making them understand the importance of global awareness at a young age can inculcate honourable values in them. Ultimately, this can forge them into responsible and actionable citizens. Spreading awareness at the fundamental level of schooling is imperative. It ensures the citizens of tomorrow do not repeat the same mistakes we made.

Healthcare

India is many of the maximum populated nations within the world. However, at the same time as it has come a protracted manner from being seemed most effective as “delivery vehicles for patients”, emergency medical services in the country are still in a fragmented stage, as compared to overseas counterparts. Every year, near 33% of street accidents victims of fate sufferers and 99% of cardiac arrest sufferers lose their lives, in India, as compared to 2% and 70% within the US. The majority of such results materialise due to the shortage of EMS offerings and attention concerning them, because of which, sufferers fail to get hold of the critical, life-saving emergency care inside the “Golden Hour”. The situation is further worsened by the plethora of overlapping helplines that exist in the country, on a national, as well as state level. Furthermore the availability of drugs in the periphery and the out-of-pocket expenditure incurred by people travelling an average of 20 km to get aid and medicines adds to the grim situation.

Hunger & Adulterartion

India has slipped to 102nd position in the Global Hunger Index 2019 of 117 countries, behind its neighbours Nepal, Bangladesh and even Pakistan, which used to be the only nation in South Asia to rank below India. While the data highlights the alarming hunger level in the country, it is to be noted that food safety, too, remains to be an equally critical issue, if not more So how safe is the food that we eat? Is there a way one can judge the level of contamination from the source of consumption? Are there other external factors that play a role on food adulteration or the quality of food that we consume?

Wash

Whether in the cities or the countryside, open defecation has historically been most prevalent among the poorest citizens. This practice amounted to tonnes of faeces introduced daily into the environment, which regularly exposed India’s children to excrement through direct contact. The risk of spreading diarrheal and waterborne diseases is compounded by the lack of regular handwashing and microbial contamination of water in their homes and communities. The situation contributed to nearly 100,000 diarrhoeal deaths of children under five years in India. Poor sanitation can also have a ripple effect when it hinders national development because workers are suffering from illnesses and living shorter lives, thereby producing and earning less, and unable to afford education and stable futures for their children. Inadequate water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) services in India’s health facilities, contributes to the high neonatal mortality rate, which is currently 24 deaths per 1000 live births. Sepsis – mostly spread in health facilities – contributes to 15 per cent of the overall neonatal mortality and 11 per cent of maternal deaths. And the risks do not end there when they are brought home to a community that lacks toilets.

Clean Energy

The ecological balance is a stable state between all plants and animals in an ecosystem and destabilization of this stable state is ecological imbalance that in turn exerts serious threats to widespread nature of biodiversity. The ecological balance is currently a necessity to maintain the rich and varied diversity of animals, plants and microbial life, which is essential for mutual survival and existence of all living beings including human.

Sustainable Living Spaces

People do not change behavior based on what they should do. They do not respond to data and statistics, nor to negative future scenarios. People act to fulfill their needs and aspirations. They make decisions based on price, accessibility, effectiveness and additional criteria like well-being or trends. Sustainability is not the defining criteria. Even the people who want to live more sustainably often lack information and access to affordable and desirable products and services. This underscores that beyond people, it is up to governments and business (who are also consumers!) to provide more information and support positive behavior change, and to support and develop new business models to make sustainable living a default option.
